Nepalese red panda twins born in New Zealand

Check out these cute cubs!

Two adorable red pandas have been welcomed into the world at a zoo in New Zealand.

The twin cubs, who have yet to be named, were born on 3 January to four-year-old mother Bo and 13-year-old father Sagar at Auckland Zoo.

They currently weigh just over 400 grams (less than a pound) and are still completely dependent on their mum.

Red pandas are rare and on average live up to 8-12 years in the wild but can live longer in zoos.
