Severe flooding is expected in parts of the UK on Friday as heavy rain and strong winds cause high tides.

There are 21 severe flood warnings in place with south-west England, Gloucestershire and Wales most affected.

The Environment Agency has warned that weather conditions in some parts of Britain could be the worst for five to ten years.

Meanwhile, the government is to hold a Cobra emergency meeting on Friday to discuss the extreme weather.
