China launches 'rabbit' rover to the moon

Help

China has successfully launched its first ever rover to the moon.

The rocket took off last night, with Jade rabbit on board.

But Jade is no animal: it's a 6-wheeled, robotic rover, which is designed to climb steep slopes.

It'll search for rare metals and other natural resources when it touches down in mid December.
