The Olympic torch makes history - in space!

Watch the Olympic torch in space

The Olympic torch has made history by heading out on it's first ever space walk!

Two Russian cosmonauts took it out of the International Space Station.

They even managed to snap a few selfies!

It was tied to their spacesuits so it didn't float away.

When it's back on earth, it'll light the Olympic cauldron at the Winter Games in Sochi in February 2014.
