Conservationists in China dress as pandas to teach cubs

Watch them in action!

How do you teach a panda in captivity to survive in the wild? Dress up as one of course!

Well that's what Chinese conservation workers have done to help 26-month-old cub Zhang Xiang.

They're planning to release the female panda into the wild, after spending two years teaching her survival skills.

Zhang Xiang has been in captivity since birth, but experts in Sichuan Province now believe she is ready to be set free.

The disguises allowed conservationists to interact with Zhang and teach her skills, without making her used to being around humans.
