Royal baby christening announced

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge show their new-born baby boy

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced the date of their son's christening.

Prince George, who was born this summer and is third in line to the throne will be christened on 23rd October at St James's Palace.

It'll be a private ceremony performed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Prince George will be christened in a replica of the gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, the Princess Royal, in 1841.
