Extreme sports fans are winging it to Wales for two days as the best 12 cliff divers battle it out at the world series taking place there.

Competitors will plunge into the sea from a height of 27 metres in Abereiddy.

This is stop number six of the world tour which, this year, includes three British divers.

Professionally trained in cliff diving, the contestants hit the water at a speedy 50 miles per hour, so they have to take lots of precautions to make sure they don't get hurt.
