Gareth Bale moved to Real Madrid from Tottenham for £85m and was unveiled at the Bernabeu in front of thousands of screaming fans.

Everton have signed James McCarthy from Wigan for £13m, Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea, and Gareth Barry on loan from Man City.

Elsewhere, West Bromwich Albion have signed midfielder Morgan Amalfitano on a season-long loan from Marseille.
