Egyptian security forces are trying to persuade hundreds of protesters to leave a mosque where they barricaded themselves in overnight.

Yesterday, more than eighty people died during clashes between security forces and protestors who are loyal to former president Mohammed Morsi.

The Muslim Brotherhood, a group which backs the former President, has called for a week of daily protests.

Officials in Egypt say 1,0004 people were arrested yesterday.
