Baby elephant plays in paddling pool at Texan Zoo

Watch Belle having a splash in the pool

Belle is just four weeks old but has already made a splash trying out the paddling pool at her new enclosure in America.

She is only the second Asian elephant to be born at Fort Worth Zoo in Texas in more than 100 years.

Belle weighed 330 pounds when she was born but is putting on weight.

This type of play is useful for learning new skills but Belle seems to be struggling a bit.

Zoo spokeswoman Katie Giangreco says Belle is "curious and full of personality, learning new things every day, learning what her trunk is for, learning to use her legs".
