Lucy Spraggan: X Factor 'did wonders' for me

Lucy Spraggan talks to Newsround

Lucy Spraggan isn't worried about being labelled after being on The X Factor.

She told Newsround: "People will say that's the type of thing that ruins the music industry.

"But I'm a musician, I've been doing this for a really long time, and I felt like I just needed this break and it's done wonders."

In her interview, she also talks about her new single Lighthouse, which is set to enter the UK top 20 this Sunday.

Plus she tells us about her former jobs, which include a magician, a plumber's apprentice, and a tour guide in a cave!

Lucy reached the live shows of last year's X Factor, but pulled out because of illness.
