Check out Mud Day!

Hundreds of kids in Detroit, America, have been getting very mucky for the city's annual Mud Day.

Children got to muck around in a mud pit in their local park, taking part in wheelbarrow races and other games, all in lots of mud.

A panel of judges also chose a king and queen, based on their creative uses of mud.

And at the end of the day, a team was ready with hoses to wash all the mucky stuff off!
