UK butterflies on new Royal Mail stamps

Royal Mail have unveiled a brand new collection of stamps featuring 10 different butterfly species from the UK.

Four butterfly stamps
The butterflies featured on the stamps are a mix of endangered and more common and familiar species. Here are the chalkhill blue, the swallowtail, the red admiral and marbled white butterflies.
Purple Emperor stamp
Springwatch presenter Michaela Strachan got involved in the unveiling of the stamps. Here she is with the purple emperor stamp - and spot the morpho butterfly in her hand!
Butterfly stamps
Here are the last of the ten stamps featuring the orange-tip, small copper, marsh fritillary and brimstone butterflies. The brimstone is one of the first butterflies of spring.
