A Chinese astronaut has given more than 300 children at a school in Beijing a very special science lesson - live from space!

The unusual class was delivered via video link from China's space lab, 340 km above Earth, on Thursday.

Female astronaut Wang Yaping demonstrated how zero gravity affects different objects.

She drank a floating bubble of water, and showed a pendulum ball going round and round.

Wang also pushed a fellow astronaut just by touching them with her finger, and played with floating spinning tops.

The astronaut took questions from the pupils - including one about UFOs.

"So far, I have not seen any UFOs," Wang said.

China sent three astronauts into space on 11 June for a 15-day mission.
