How to enter the Newsround Inventions Competition

Think you and your friends could invent something that's Absolute Genius? Then here's what you need to do to enter our competition.

Make a team with your friends

  • You'll need to enter the competition through your school so get into a group with your friends. Make sure you ask your teacher to download our advice pack for teachers:

Get some expert advice

Get inventing!

  • You can use our worksheets and inventor's notebook to help your planning.
  • When you've come up with a great idea, fill out your entry form. Ask your teacher to help.

Send us your entry

  • Read the competition terms and conditions.
  • Email your completed form to newsroundinventions@bbc.co.uk
  • Or post it to Newsround Inventions Competition, CBBC, BBC Bridge House, MediaCity UK, Salford, M50 2BH.
  • You must get your entry to us before midnight on 24 May 2013 - entries received after that date won't count.
