Phoebe says she adores reading and her mum has been reading to her since she was a baby. She dressed as Dorothy from 'The Wizard of Oz'. She took her favourite book to school today, 'The Velveteen Rabbit'.
Amber loves reading out of school and has decided to dress up as the 'Cat in the Hat'.

Leah aged 8 from Birmingham went to school today as Little Red Riding Hood
Oscar from Kent is rocking those shades as Willy Wonka from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.
These kids all go to a school in Birmingham and dressed up as their favourite book characters. They also read their favourite books in our assembly. They had a competition to see who had the best costume in each class, with the teachers acting as judges.
