Ore's dancing diary for Let's Dance for Comic Relief

Newsround's very own Ore is hitting the dance floor for Let's Dance for Comic Relief! He sent us this update to let us know how he's getting on...

"I'm really excited about doing Let's Dance for Comic Relief.

I've been watching Comic Relief since I was a kid, so to be part of it and hopefully raise lots of money is amazing!

I'm doing my two minute routine with Sonali Shah (you'll recognise her as a former Newsrounder!) and although she's done a bit of dancing before, I have not!

Ore and Sonali in training!

At first, I was quite intimidated by how much actual dancing there is to do in two minutes!

The dance teacher started by showing us a few moves, which I thought was it, but then they gave us all the other moves and I couldn't believe there was so much to remember.

It's definitely given me a new-found respect for dancers who can learn new routines really easily.

We've been dancing for four days now, doing about seven hours a day.

My whole body is aching from top-to-toe, but I'm loving it.

One more day of training left and I feel very nearly ready.

I'm looking forward to perfecting some parts of the routine, and I can't wait to put on my costume for real tomorrow.

Hope you can all support us live on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday - we'll need it!"
