Gold for GB women at World Track Cycling Championships

  • 22 February 2013

Britain's women have won gold at the World Track cycling Championships.

Olympic gold medallists Laura Trott and Dani King joined up with Elinor Barker to win the women's team pursuit, beating Australia in the final.

It's the first gold medal for GB at the championships - which is one of the biggest events in cycling.

The lack of gold medals for Great Britain at the competition in Belarus is a bit disappointing - when they were so brilliant at the Olympics last year.
