Harry back in UK after Afghan tour

Prince Harry arriving back in the UK from Afghanistan

Prince Harry has arrived back in Britain after spending almost five months in Afghanistan.

He's been serving as an Apache helicopter gunner co-pilot, and left the war-torn country on Monday evening.

The prince flew into Oxfordshire and is expected to travel with his comrades back to their headquarters in Suffolk.

He told reporters that he's really proud of the work he's been doing in Afghanistan, and is now hoping to spend some time with his family.

Prince Harry is the first member of the Royal Family to take part in combat since his uncle, the Duke of York, fought in the Falklands War.
