More than 2000 primary school kids arrested last year

Thousands of schoolkids arrested

Getting arrested by the police is a big deal. For an adult it can mean getting a fine, going to court and even being sent to prison.

But it's not just grown-ups who are getting in trouble with the law.

Last year more than 2000 primary schools kids were arrested across England and Wales - that's about six every day.

However, the total number of children arrested by the police has fallen.
