Afghanistan's first female rapper aims for the top

Afghanistan's first female rapper

Soosan Firooz is trying take over the charts in Afghanistan.

The 23-year-old has become the country's first female rapper.

Her song, Our Neighbours', tells the story of her life when she was younger and lived as a refugee in Pakistan and Iran.

She now hopes that more girls will be inspired to take up rapping, and maybe even form a band one day.

What makes Soosan's story even more amazing is that until recently music was banned in the country.

When she was younger she didn't go to school and had to work in a factory instead.
