Meet Fred the Euro 2012 psychic ferret

This is Fred the predicting ferret, who's been introduced by organisers of Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

Fred will try to guess who's going to win matches by choosing food from plates carrying flags of the competing teams.

Ever since Paul the octopus correctly guessed every German result in the 2010 World Cup and the final, every sports tournament now seems to need a psychic animal!

We've had a psychic elephant, rhino, crocodile and pig, but none of them has been as successful as Paul.

We'll have to wait and see how good Fred's guessing skills are.
