CCTV cameras could help to save fish
A simple video camera could change the way fish are caught at sea.
Every day thousands of tonnes of fish are caught but then thrown away without being eaten.
In a system called 'fishing quotas', fishing boats are only allowed to bring a certain amount of fish back to shore. If they bring too much back, the extra fish have to be thrown away.
But now a video camera monitors the number of fish being discarded, and the waste is much lower.
