Rosie, 13 talks about living with autism

  • 11 November 2011

Newsround has made a special programme called My Autism and Me.

It tells the real-life story of Rosie who has autism.

It's about how young people with autism deal with the condition in their day-to-day lives.

Rosie says:

"I got involved with doing this Newsround Special through my mum writing a book.

"My local news station heard about Mum's book and my illustrations and came to film us both.

"The guys at Newsround saw this and contacted me to do a film about autism which showed earlier this year.

"Then they decided to look in more detail at the condition and so contacted me to be the presenter of the special report on autism."

Here's a bit more about our young presenter...
