Giant deadly crocodile caught in Philippines

A massive saltwater crocodile has been captured in the Philippines.

The six-metre-long croc is thought to be one of the largest ever caught alive in the country.

Weighing in at over a ton, it took more than 100 people get the male snapper out of the creek, in the southern Bunawan township.

He was first spotted killing a water buffalo in August and officials have been trying to catch him for three weeks.

He's now set to be the star attraction at a new nature park being built in the area.
