This magical green glow is coming from the Southern Lights which appear around the South Pole at certain times of year.
The lights are caused when the Sun's solar winds hit the Earth's magnetic fields.
Out of this world! The crew are on the last leg on their final 12 day mission to the space station before the shuttle is retired.
