Puffins' private island life on show to public
The secret lives of thousands of puffins and other birds are being caught on camera on an island off the coast of Northumberland.
The RSPB bird charity has put CCTV cameras all over Coquet Island, including one inside a puffin's burrow.
The island is out of bounds to the public, so it's hoped people can watch the footage to learn more about the birds.
So far it has seen what is thought to be the first footage of a puffin feeding her young on the island.
The camera is pretty small, at 30mm in diameter and 100mm long.
