Details of Nintendo's new game console, the Wii U have been revealed.

The Wii U is the latest version of the Wii - which with its movement controller totally changed the way people thought about computer games.

Nintendo's new version offers more changes - with the big difference being the controller.

Even though you play on a big screen like with an XBox or a PlayStation, the Wii U's controller has its own touchscreen in the middle.

You can still control the games by moving the new controller, but it also has a joystick and trigger buttons.

It's also got a camera that faces whoever is playing the game.

It was revealed under tight security, but people who have seen say it is weird, and nothing like they have played before - just like the first version of the Wii.

The Wii 2 was be unveiled at the big video games show, the E3 Expo games conference, in Los Angeles, America.

Wii U will work with older games and controllers and will be available from spring 2012. There was no indication how much it would cost.
