Angie Phillips

Angie is the Broadcast Meteorologist for BBC Newsline. She joined the Met Office in 1985, and has had positions in Belfast Climate Office, Edinburgh Climate Office, and as a forecaster at Glasgow Weather Centre and Aldergrove.

She trained at the Met Office College and at Reading College of Technology.

Angie started working as part of the ITN weather team in 1993, before joining the BBC Newsline team in 1996, where she has been since.

Married with 3 children... much of her free time is spent running around after them!

She enjoys music, theatre, entertaining and reading.  Admits to not being very sporty, but loves the rugby!
