Invictus athlete: Losing my arm wasn't a massive low point

On 8 May 2007, Lewis Edwards was five days away from being flown to Iraq with the Second Battalion The Royal Welsh.

But being involved in a road accident meant his right arm had to be amputated above the elbow and his first tour of duty was brought to a halt.

Lewis, 26, says participation in sport has greatly helped him on his road to recovery as it has given him something to focus on.

Newsbeat spoke to the swimmer during a final training session before he competes at this year's Invictus Games on 14 September.
