David Beckham reveals his suit of armour for the first time
He's not averse to wearing flamboyant outfits and this time it's for his first big screen role.
David Beckham posted a shot on Instagram wearing a full suit of armour, sword and rugged expression.
He's taking on a small guest part in Guy Ritchie's new movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
He plays a knight called Trigger who tries, but fails, to pull the sword from the stone.
The legend goes that only the true king of England can release the weapon, called Excalibur.
Guy Ritchie's version of the story also stars Charlie Hunnam as King Arthur as well as Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey and Eric Bana.
And when we say David Beckham has a small part, we think it might be blink-and-you-miss-it if his previous posts are anything to go by.
Maybe his character doesn't last that long?
The 41-year-old posted a shot of himself recently with some seriously gnarly battle scars and excellently realistic rotten teeth.
It got some fans joking that he'd "let himself go" and others worried he'd fallen off his motorbike.

It's not the first time David Beckham has worked with his good friend and director, Guy Ritchie.
They collaborated on his H&M commercials back in 2013 and David has spoken in the past about wanting to gain acting experience.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is out in UK cinemas on 12 May.
