Grime MC NoLay in 'critical condition' after car accident
Grime MC NoLay is in a "critical condition" following a car accident, her manager Tyler Jones has confirmed in a statement.
"It saddens me to have to bring this news to light, but currently NoLay isn't in a stable condition and remains unconscious from a car crash abroad," he says.
"I ask that you all respect NoLay and Nolay's family's right to privacy.
"The prayers and love are much appreciated."
The news was first announced on NoLay's Instagram page, with a post asking for "supporters to pray for her recovery".
NoLay's Twitter name has also been changed to "Pray for NoLay".
The musician, who has also gone by the name Isabella Gotti, recently featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra's Best of British.
She has been promoting her latest track, Gotta Love It, and just confirmed she would be the subject of a new mini-documentary about her life and music.
The post on NoLay's Instagram was shared in the early hours of Monday morning.
Further details about the car accident have yet to be confirmed. There is also no word on whether anyone else sustained injuries.
