Tom Fletcher and wife Giovanna welcome second child - Buddy Bob

McBusted's frontman Tom Fletcher and his author wife, Giovanna, have become parents for the second time.

The 30-year-old announced the news on his Twitter account, writing "Player 2 has entered the game".

It's their second son and the couple revealed they have named him Buddy Bob.

He joins older brother, two-year-old Buzz Michelangelo.

He and his wife later tweeted thanks to their fans for all of their support.

Tom Fletcher caused a stir on social media last week after posting a photo of a Tupperware box in which they would store his wife's placenta after she gave birth.

Some fans felt that was a little TMI, so Tom tweeted: "OK it's probably a little early on a Monday for placenta related tweets. Sorry."

While it is unclear what the Fletchers will do with Giovanna's placenta, Kim Kardashian turned her placenta into pills after the birth of her son Saint West.

Coleen Rooney also said last month that she was going to eat her own placenta, converted into capsules, after giving birth to her third son Kit.
