One Direction's Louis Tomlinson 'is removed from Newcastle hotel'

We already knew Louis Tomlinson had been on a big night out in Newcastle this week.

But now it's claimed it all ended with him being kicked out of his hotel for "trashing" his room.

The Sun newspaper is reporting the singer was led to the door by security at around 4am.

A spokesperson for the Malmaison Hotel in Newcastle would only tell Newsbeat that "a guest" was removed but refused to say anything more.

Newsbeat is waiting to hear back from Louis' people to see if they have a comment.

Earlier in the night, he went to a student club after coming off stage in the city.

He was seen chatting to fans in the venue, where drinks cost £1 each.

"People were queuing up to buy him drinks," the club's DJ, Chris Ranson, told Newsbeat.

The newspaper says it's spoken to locals who saw Louis return to the hotel "clutching a bottle of booze".

It's believed the rest of the 1D boys were staying at another hotel.

The Sun says the hotel's security guard was "furious".

They say Louis "ran out of the hotel carrying all of his clothes and another bottle of booze".

It's then claimed a waiting car drove him to the band's tour bus, where it's believed the singer spent the rest of the night.

One Direction will also be in Sheffield and London this week as their world tour comes to an end.
