Little Mix's Perrie Edwards says she is lucky to have her bandmates since her break-up with Zayn Malik.

The 22-year-old appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS in the States last night.

Little Mix are currently on a promotional tour of America and performed their track Black Magic on the talkshow.

But before their performance, James Corden pulled Perrie in for a hug and asked her how she was doing.

"Do you know what, I am good," she replied, followed by cheering from the live audience.

"We are having an absolute blast in America, it's all going so well.

"And I just wake up every day and thank my lucky stars I have these three girls," she said before hugging bandmate Jade Thirwell.

Perrie has been asked about the end of her engagement to Zayn once before, on the day it became public knowledge.

An E! news presenter asked: 'Perrie, obviously I know it's a very tough time for you with the news breaking today about you and Zayn, so your fans, I know, are heartbroken.'

The singer simply replied: 'I'm good, thank you.'

'We don't really want to talk about it,' added her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

But aside from the gossip and dealing with the heartbreak, Little Mix are having a very successful promo trip in the US.

They have officially joined Taylor Swift's girl squad - she brought the group on stage at her concert in Santa Clara, California to sing Black Magic.

The following night they performed at the Teen Choice Awards and picked up Choice Music Breakout Artist, voted for by fans.

And while Little Mix are bossing the States, Zayn has got himself into a Twitter row with Calvin Harris.

The two exchanged heated tweets after Zayn retweeted an article about Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus's differing view points on streaming services.
