Imagine Dragons threw in a cover of I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by the Proclaimers during their set at T in The Park.

They used to sing the Scottish group's track when they worked as a covers group in their native Las Vegas.

Speaking to Newsbeat before their set, lead singer Dan Reynolds said: "Someone has to do it, it's our responsibility.

"We have to do it. Who knows we may just do one Proclaimers song for 45 minutes.

"But if the crowd don't like it, we're blaming you."

The band are set to resume work on their second album, the follow up to their debut Night Visions.

"We're doing our second record right now but we couldn't say no to a few shows - one of them being T In The Park," said Reynolds. "It's one of our favourite festivals."

"So here we are. But when we get home next week we will resume work on the second record. When it's done… who's to say?"

The band have had huge success with their first album.

Single Radioactive won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance and they took home five Billboard Music Awards, including Top Rock Album.
