Teenager in World Cup crowd 'signs modelling contract'
A teenage Belgian football fan is taking part in a social media campaign for beauty firm L'Oreal after being spotted at the World Cup.
Axelle Despiegelaere was photographed in red, yellow and black face paint and a horned hat at the match in Brazil.
L'Oreal is using her on Twitter and YouTube after pictures at Belgium's game against Russia went viral and appeared in newspapers worldwide.
Belgium went on to beat the US before being knocked out by Argentina.
After returning home, Axelle set up a professional Facebook page which now has more than 200,000 likes.
On Tuesday she announced she was accepting a modelling contract.
She is now appearing as part of L'Oreal's latest social media campaign in Belgium and has filmed a beauty tutorial for the company.
The L'Oreal Professionnel Belgique YouTube video has been watched more than 1.9 million times.
It shows Axelle Despiegelaere in a salon having her hair treated, washed and blow-dried.
