Caroline Flack to leave Xtra Factor after three years
Caroline Flack has announced she will not be returning for a fourth series of X Factor spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
The 34-year-old, who joined the ITV programme in 2011, broke the news on Twitter.
BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford will be taking Flack's place to present the show's fourth series.
"After three brilliant years of hosting Xtra Factor it's time to pass the baton. It's been incredible and I'll never forget it," wrote Flack.
"How can I when I am married to Louis Walsh? It's all he ever talks about at home.
"I wish the new team all the best and look forward to watching the new series."
There has been no official announcement about whether Matt Richardson, Flack's co-host from the previous series, will continue on the Xtra Factor but it has been reported that he will also be leaving the show.
Previous hosts of the spin-off series have included Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby and Olly Murs.
This week it was also announced that former Spice Girl Mel B would be completing the judging panel for the 11th series of The X Factor.
She'll be joining Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh on the show, which will be presented by Dermot O'Leary.
The presenter said: "With Mel on the panel, along with Simon, Cheryl and Louis, I'll have my hands full - we're going to be in for an exciting year."
