Macaulay Culkin's band booed off stage twice in a week
Macaulay Culkin's band have been booed off stage twice in a week during their UK tour.
The Pizza Underground, a comedy rock group, were heckled and had drinks thrown at them on Friday at a gig at Manchester's Zoo venue.
According to reports, the former child actor walked off stage when an audience member interrupted his kazoo solo.
The band also had plastic glasses thrown at them during their set in Nottingham on Sunday.
"Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone," the band later posted on Twitter.
Culkin's band parody songs by The Velvet Underground, using pizza-themed lyrics.
In addition to playing the kazoo, Culkin also sings with the group.
The 33-year-old rose to fame in 1990 when he played Kevin McCallister in Home Alone.
He had previously starred in Uncle Buck alongside John Candy, and went on to feature in films including My Girl, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Richie Rich.
In 2004 the actor admitted to possession of drugs, including marijuana.
He had a long-term relationship with Mila Kunis but the pair broke up in 2011.
