The Killers for Glasgow Summer Sessions festival set
The Killers are the first act announced for Glasgow's Summer Sessions.
The festival returns to Bellahouston Park in August and is Scotland's only annual outdoor city music festival.
The US band will be joined on 19 August by The Courteeners and Miles Kane.
"We have some more big acts and dates to announce over the next few months so once again Glasgow Summer Sessions will be one of the hottest tickets of the summer," said Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events.
"The Killers' performance at T in the Park last year was incredible.
"We're thrilled to welcome them back to Scotland as part of Glasgow Summer Sessions, especially with such brilliant special guests in Courteeners and Miles Kane."
In 2013, Glasgow Summer Sessions attracted musicians including Eminem, Tinie Tempah, Avicii and Kings Of Leon, selling more than 100,000 tickets.
Tickets for the gig go on sale on Friday 25 April at 9am.
The Killers have topped the UK chart with each of their four studio albums and have had hits with songs including Mr Brightside, When You Were Young and All These Things That I've Done.
The group have sold more than 20 million albums and won numerous awards including a Brit for best international group in 2007.
