Rough Copy member Kazeem Ajobe has been asked to leave the X Factor tour following an "incident backstage".

Tour bosses would not confirm what had happened backstage.

A spokesperson for the X Factor tour, however, did confirm that the remaining two members of Rough Copy would continue performing on the tour as a duo.

But the trio will still work together after the tour across the UK is finished.

A statement said: "Following an incident backstage, Rough Copy member Kazeem Ajobe has left the X Factor tour. The remaining Rough Copy members Sterling and Joey will continue to perform on the tour as a duo."

Epic records have said the trio plan to release a single, Sweet Love, later this year.

Nigerian-born Kazeem also made headlines during the show when visa issues prevented him from heading to New York for the judges' houses stage.

The band were also chosen for judges' houses in 2012 but had to pull out of the show after Kazeem Ajobe's visa was not sorted out in time to allow him to leave the UK.

This year's X Factor tour started on 15 February and is due to end in Birmingham at the end of this month.
