White Lies have been announced as headliners for this year's Truck Festival.

The two day event, which takes place in Steventon on 18-19 July, sees the The Cribs as co-headliners.

Festival organiser James Goodall hinted more acts are due to be released shortly.

He said: "We have just unleashed this brilliant line-up but we still have many more things ready to be announced, so watch out."

Other acts due to perform include Los Campesinos!, Kids In Glass Houses and local Oxford band Stornoway.

Stornoway played Truck's BBC Introducing in Wales stage, then returned to play the main stage in 2010.

Brian from the band said returning to Truck holds sentimental value.

"Truck was the first festival we were ever invited to play, and we've done a spot of recording in the barn studio there," he said.

"It's an independent event without sponsorship. The food is sold by the local vicar and Didcot Rotary Club, and numbers are limited to just 5,000."
