SBTRKT and The Horrors added to Field Day 2014 line-up



Field Day Festival has added SBTRKT and The Horrors to its line-up.

They join previously announced headliners Metronomy and Pixies on the bill for the London event.

Radio 1's Huw Stephens, Blood Orange and Simian Mobile Disco are also among the acts named in the most recent announcement.

Tickets for the event, which will take place in east London's Victoria Park on the weekend of 7-8 June, are on sale now.

This year sees the festival moving from a one to a two-day weekend format for the first time since its launch in 2007.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Radio 1, SBTRKT, whose real name is Aaron Jerome, said: "It's going to be exciting. It's the first time in over a year or more back in the UK.

"It's going to be great to showcase music again in a live environment."

The electronic producer also says he aims to release a follow-up to 2011's self-titled debut album at some point this year.

Other names added to the Field Day line-up are Jaguar Ma, Ghostpoet and Temples.

Australian's Pond have also been added to Sunday's line-up, after last playing Field Day in 2012.

The likes of Disclosure, Everything Everything and Julio Bashmore performed that the event last year.
