Billie Faiers, one of the cast of The Only Way is Essex, has confirmed that she is pregnant.

The ITV2 reality show star announced on Twitter that she was expecting a child for the first time.

"I am so happy to tell you all, that Greg and I are expecting our first baby! We are so excited!! Thank you for all of your kind messages," she wrote.

The 24-year-old also revealed that the baby was due in late June, in an interview with a celebrity magazine.

This is the first time a star of The Only Way is Essex will have a baby while on the show.

However, she confirmed she would take a break from filming to give birth.

"The producers would be like: 'Sorry, can we just hold on for a minute while we set this light up?' It will be the first TOWIE baby but it definitely won't be the first birth on TOWIE," she told OK!

Her partner Greg Shepherd does not feature on the ITV2 programme, which has been on air since 2010.

Billie's sister, Sam Faiers, is starring on the Channel 5 reality show Celebrity Big Brother alongside N-Dubz musician Dappy, Blue singer Lee Ryan and Ollie Locke from Made in Chelsea.

The show also stars former world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, who has been told off by bosses for saying being gay isn't "normal".

The 50-year-old compared being homosexual to being born with a deformed leg, saying "you go to a doctor and get it fixed back right".

He also said it was "a choice" to be gay.

Celebrity Big Brother officials told Holyfield that those "aren't the views that are held by a large section of society and expressing these views will be extremely offensive to many people".
