The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford gives birth to son
The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford and her fiance, footballer Wayne Bridge, have become parents for the first time.
She tweeted: "Wayne and I are so proud to say our little boy Parker Bridge was born this morning. 7lb 13oz. All doing well and absolutely besotted."
The pair got engaged in April and announced the pregnancy a month later.
The singer has recently been taking time out from The Saturdays but bandmate Rochelle Humes said she would be back for a tour soon.
"She would absolutely kill us if we went on tour without her," she said.
"It's her favourite thing to do so we'll all be there together. It'll be the five of us back in force together on tour."
Humes recently returned to the group after having her first baby, a daughter named Alaia-Mai, with husband Marvin Humes of JLS.
The Saturdays' fourth studio album, Living For the Weekend, was released on 14 October.
Earlier this year Sandford teamed up with mental health charities Mind and Rethink for their It's Time to Talk campaign.
The 24-year-old star said she has suffered from depression and anxiety for a number of years and called for and end to the stigma attached to mental health illnesses.
