Miranda Hart offers reward for return of stolen laptop
Comedian Miranda Hart has offered a reward for anyone who can return her stolen laptop.
The 40-year-old actress used Twitter on Sunday (13 October) to make the plea.
She tweeted: "If people who stole my laptop last night in W6 out there. Please please please return. Precious creative projects all lost. Will reward."
Her request has been retweeted by more than 7,800 times.
Details of the lost material were not disclosed, but Hart is preparing for a 41 show live tour next year, which starts in Bournemouth on 28 February.
The tour also includes dates in Cardiff, Manchester and Glasgow before finishing at London's O2 on 12 April.
This will be her first stand-up comedy tour since her successful BBC series Miranda.
The sitcom, written by and starring Hart, first aired in November 2009.
Hart won the best actress award at this year's TV Choice Awards for her role as Camilla Cholmeley-Browne, also known as Chummy, in Call the Midwife.
The comedian is also set to release her first fitness DVD, Miranda Hart's Maracattack, on 18 November.
A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed that police were investigating reports of a burglary at an address in Shepherd's Bush, west London.
No arrests have been made at this time and the inquiry will continue.
