Alesha Dixon announces birth of her first daughter
Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has announced the birth of a daughter.
The singer wrote on Twitter: "I've had the best present in the world... My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week! I'm elated and over-the-moon."
She revealed the news on her 35th birthday, adding: "It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long! I was in my six month of pregnancy at the Britain's Got Talent final!"
This is the first child for her and her partner, dancer Azuka Ononye.
The pair met when they worked together on her solo career after she left the girl band Mis-Teeq and only revealed in June that they were expecting a baby.
She has previously been married to So Solid Crew star MC Harvey but broke up with him in 2005.
Alesha Dixon appeared on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, which she won in 2007. Two years later she joined the judging panel, replacing Arlene Phillips.
She has confirmed that she will be returning to Britain's Got Talent next year.
