Haim announce headline UK tour for March 2014



Haim have announced a headline UK tour for 2014.

The US band will play seven dates, starting on 4 March in Nottingham before continuing to London and Brighton and ending in Glasgow on 12 March.

The trio already have a sell-out UK tour planned for December.

Haim will also perform an in-store show at London's Rough Trade East tomorrow (1 October) to celebrate the release of their debut album Days Are Gone.

On Sunday the band performed on the Andrew Marr Show, dedicating their song to Prime Minister David Cameron.

    • 8 - The Academy, Manchester
    • 10 - Olympia Theatre, Dublin
    • 11 - O2 Academy, Sheffield
    • 12 - Barrowlands, Glasgow

Earlier this year they topped the BBC Sound of 2013 list, beating AlunaGeorge, Angel Haze and Laura Mvula to first place.

In previous years it has been won by Jessie J, Ellie Goulding and Adele.

The band consists of three sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, who grew up in Los Angeles playing music together in the family's covers band.

Tickets for Haim's March dates go on sale on Friday 4 October at 9am.
