Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby has won the 12th series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The 23-year-old reality television star beat 5ive singer Abz Love into second place.

She was forced to pose for photographers while holding an umbrella as heavy rain affected the final night of the show.

When she was announced as the winner, Crosby said: "Oh my God, what the hell? This is horrible."

As she left the house and walked down the steps towards host Emma Willis, Crosby repeatedly said: "I'm so scared."

She said she couldn't believe she'd won because she thought everyone hated her.

She also said she thought people would be put off because she was "unladylike".

"It's just so much to take in," she said. "It's just so weird. My behaviour's not acceptable really."

Runner-up Abz Love described his experience in the house as the hardest thing he's had to do in his life, but said he loved the other contestants.

The boy band singer said the house was "a little bit too much" for him at times.

Lauren Harries, who was born James Harries and began her career appearing as a 10-year-old boy on the Wogan show in 1988, came third.

Loose Women panellist Carol McGiffin finished fourth, with Towie star Mario Falcone fifth and former Coronation Street actress Vicky Entwistle in sixth place.
