Lady Gaga's Bad Romance her second million-selling song
Lady Gaga has claimed the second million-selling single of her career in the UK with Bad Romance.
The track, from her debut album The Fame Monster, was released in December 2009.
Bad Romance is now one of only 138 tracks to sell more than a million copies in British history and the 12th single to hit this milestone this year.
Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines featuring TI and Pharrell Williams crossed over the million mark last month.
Lady Gaga is now one of only 16 artists to ever sell more than a million copies of a single in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.
Bad Romance went to the top of the chart before being knocked off after a week by Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name.
The song claimed the Christmas number one spot after a campaign to keep the X Factor winner's song from reaching the top spot.
Lady Gaga returned to the top of the chart a week later.
The singer already has a previous million-selling track with Poker Face, which is one of the UK's biggest selling singles of all time.
Gaga has returned with her new song Applause this week and is battling it out with Ellie Goulding in the race for the number one spot this weekend.
The single was released a week early by the US singer after it was leaked by hackers.
She described the rushed release as a "pop emergency" to her 40 million Twitter followers.
Lady Gaga also announced she will be opening the iTunes Festival at London's Roundhouse on 1 September.
